Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) will host a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, October 4th focused on the intersection of environmental work and the arts happening in Door County – and how you can get involved.

Facilitated by Artistic Director Jacob Janssen, this one-of-a-kind event will bring together representatives from environmental organizations in our region to discuss the state of environmental advocacy and activism in Door County.

The discussion is inspired by the upcoming BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA, running October 2-30. BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA draws its artistic inspiration from the individual experience of climate change in everyday lives.

Come and learn what you can do to join the work already being done.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00pm
WHERE: Third Avenue PlayWorks, 239 N 3rd Ave., Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235
Free and open to the public

Inspired by the timely themes in BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA, nine environmental organizations are seizing the opportunity to raise awareness and share their own expertise with TAP audiences. Organizations partnering with TAP for this production include:

  • Clean Water Action Council of Northeast Wisconsin
  • Door County Land Trust
  • Sierra Club
  • The Nature Conservancy
  • Open Door Bird Sanctuary
  • The Ridges Sanctuary

Each organization is promoting the production to their audiences, and many will also join for the roundtable discussion. We hope to see you there!
