Education

TAP’s Education Program

We believe that the theatre creates and sustains community, and should be accessible to all.

Third Avenue PlayWorks’ Community Engagement and Education Program aims to bring the transformational benefits of theatre education to every student in Northeast Wisconsin.

We are creating educational programming to bring theatre experiences to our community – regardless of age, means, or ability – through participatory classes, discussions and talks, assembly-length shows, internships, and partnerships with local civic organizations to bring local history and our present concerns to life using theatrical techniques.

We strive to create new audiences for live theatre by offering access for all through our discounted ticketing programs for seniors, children, and library patrons.

Theatre is a collaborative art form and each show is the result of the efforts of a dedicated team. Please join our team and donate here.

Resident Stage Manager Kelsey Brennan York gives a behind-the-scenes tour of the booth.

Lighting Designer Jimmy Balistreri gives a design demonstration to UWGB students.
