“The gratifying part of being a TAP community partner is knowing that some people are introduced to theatre for the first time. Having the Pay-What-You-Will preview night and talkback also provides a space for provocative conversation. In turn, it inspires contemplation, and that is the magic of TAP.”
Community
TAP Gives Back to the Community
At Third Avenue PlayWorks in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, our commitment to collaboration is reflected in several community-focused initiatives like our Community Partner Program, Check Out TAP, and even ticket donations for non-profit organizations. Great theatre doesn’t just entertain – it connects, educates, and strengthens community.

Community Partner Program

The Community Partner Program fosters a sense of community through collaboration. Great theatre inspires collaboration and fosters relationships with the larger community, so TAP partners with a variety of non-profit service organizations in our community to raise awareness and funds to support their work in service of Door County.
Check Out TAP

Check Out TAP is a community ticket access program in partnership with Door County Libraries that is designed to make theatre accessible to everyone in our Sturgeon Bay and Door County communities. Check Out TAP provides tickets to those who might not otherwise be able to attend our shows.
Donation Requests
TAP gladly donates tickets and experiences for local and regional non-profit benefits. Please send the details of your event and donation request to us via our web form on the Contact page and we will do our best to accommodate your inquiry.
