Lauren has worked in the events and hospitality space going on eight years now. She began her career in association management in Milwaukee, leading conferences of up to 2,000 attendees nationally and internationally. In 2020, Lauren transitioned to small business ownership when she opened the Door County Dragonfly B&B. She is a board member of Destination Sturgeon Bay, the local visitors bureau.
Lauren continues to manage events and cultivate her love for the arts. In June 2023 she joined the TAP team when she took the lead in planning the TAP Annual Gala, raising over $45,000 for Third Avenue PlayWorks.
Originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Lauren earned a BA in Communications with studies in Public Relations and Arts Management from UW-Stevens Point. She lives with her husband Matt at their Bed and Breakfast in Sturgeon Bay, spending their spare time with family, hosting friends, and traveling.
