This is Kelsey’s third season with Third Avenue PlayWorks. Originally from Michigan, Kelsey received a BFA in Technical Theatre and Design from Central Michigan University. She also earned an MFA in Stage Management at University of Missouri-Kansas City. After graduate school, she quickly earned her way into the Actors Equity Association and lived in Kansas City for several more years working as a stage manager and assistant stage manager at The Unicorn Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The Coterie Theatre, Starlight Theatre, and Kansas City Actors Theatre.
In early 2019 Kelsey moved to Chicago just in time to get a few shows under her belt before the city shut down. She worked with StarVox Entertainment at Broadway in Chicago, The Haymarket Opera, First Folio, and TimeLine theatre. She was in the second week of rehearsals at The Marriott when COVID shut down the production, but once theatre was able to begin again she continued to work at The Marriott and then did the last three shows of TAP’s 2022 season.
Kelsey has also stage managed for theaters on both coasts of the US and many states in between. She is looking forward to finding an artistic home at TAP and putting down some roots in Sturgeon Bay.
