These performance policies for Third Avenue PlayWorks in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, cover seating, ticket exchanges and cancellations, food and beverage policy, and more. Performance Policies

Subscription and ticket purchases (as well as tax-deductible donations) may be made in person, by phone, or securely online. Our theatre address is 239 Third Avenue in historic downtown Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. You can call the box office at (920) 743-1760.

Our daytime box office is located next door to the theatre at 235 N. Third Avenue. Regular box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On performance days the box office reopens one hour prior to show start.

Tickets are only reserved with payment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. In order to maintain inexpensive ticket pricing, as well as help offset expenses related to box office, TAP may charge a service fee. We make every effort to keep the fees as reasonable as possible.

If you cannot attend a performance on the date of your ticket, you may exchange it for another performance of the same show, subject to availability. Any unused tickets can also be donated to TAP for a tax credit. To exchange a ticket, use the link in your original email confirmation. If you no longer have the email, please contact the box office for assistance at info@thirdavenueplayworks.org or (920) 743-1760.

All seating is reserved. Patrons with special seating needs due to mobility or medical conditions should contact the Box Office to make advance arrangements.

You may arrive as early as one hour prior to curtain to pick up will call tickets at the box office, visit concessions, and meet new friends. The theatre will be opened for seating approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. Latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate break that allows the least disruption for the actors, as well as the rest of the audience.

Performance cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be canceled, we will make every attempt to contact you to make arrangements for an alternate date.

Food and beverages that are purchased at concessions are permitted in the theatre.

Due to contract restrictions stipulated by Actors’ Equity, the national union of professional stage actors and managers, the use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited at all performances. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones with cameras, video cameras, and audio recording devices. TAP reserves the right to confiscate any and all devices in non-compliance to this policy.

The safety and protection of our actors and audience members is crucially important to TAP. We strive to provide a theatre environment that can be enjoyed in a peaceful and respectful manner. TAP reserves the right to address disruptions to the performances and disruptive or threatening patrons may be asked to leave.

Some of the content and material presented in the performances may not be suitable for children. Please check with the Box Office staff prior to purchasing tickets for children age 10 and under.
