Community Through Collaboration

About the Community Partner Program

The Community Partner Program at Third Avenue PlayWorks is an initiative that seeks to engage with the local community by forming partnerships with local non-profit organizations and businesses. The program aims to foster a sense of community through collaborations that promote the arts and enrich the cultural landscape of the area.

The Community Partner Program Includes

  • At each Pay-What-You-Will (PWYW) performance, offered on the Wednesday prior to opening night, a portion of the proceeds received will be given to our selected community partner. The total amount of the proceeds will be calculated and paid to the Community Partner after the conclusion of the Performance.
  • Your organization will be on display throughout the run of the show with an opportunity to collect donations
  • Partner with us on additional talkbacks, providing a unique opportunity to learn more about the intriguing and sometimes provocative themes explored in our productions and how it relates to your mission
  • A flyer and graphic prior to your community partner production to help you promote the show.
  • A dedicated social media post promoting the PWYW performance
  • Inclusion in email announcing the PWYW performance

The Community Partner Program Organization Agrees To

  • Promote the PWYW Performance within your community, as mutually agreed upon included but not limited to:
    • Sending marketing emails to your mailing list for the PWYW date and the production dates in general
