Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) kicked off rehearsals this week for its upcoming production of Ryan’s Pub, Trivia Night, by Alec Silberblatt. The fourth show of the 2025 season at Third Avenue PlayWorks is sponsored by Linda Berns, Chirs & Judi Collins, Linda Kohn, and Anthony & Judy Licata. This play runs from September 24 to October 12, 2025, featuring performances by Kelli Strickland and Doug Mancheski.
The downtown Sturgeon Bay playhouse is the site for the world premiere of "Ryan's Pub, Trivia Night," a new play by Alec Silberblatt that received a staged reading at TAP during its annual play reading event in February 2024.
Our upcoming production of Ryan’s Pub, Trivia Night by Alec Silberblatt is going to be a world premiere, but what exactly does that mean? Basically, this is the very first time this play will be performed publicly anywhere in the world. The performance is a full, professional production complete with all the sets, costumes, and lighting you would expect from any production at Third Avenue PlayWorks, but as an audience member, you’ll be among the first ever to see the new work brought to life on stage.
The Community Partner for Ryan’s Pub, Trivia Night at Third Avenue PlayWorks in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, is JAK’s Place. A portion of the proceeds from the Pay-What-You-Will performance on September 24 will go towards our Community Partner. JAK’s Place will have a table in the lobby with more information and a place for donation during the run of Ryan's Pub, Trivia Night through October 12th, 2025.
