Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) has two new ways for audiences to connect before performances: young professionals’ networking mixers and private wine nights.
Young professionals mixers take place on the second Wednesday performance of each show – April 29, June 10, July 22, Sept. 10 and Dec. 9 – from 5 to 6:30 pm. Wine nights take place on the first Thursday of each show’s run – April 23, June 4, July 16, Sept. 24 and Dec. 3 – from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The shows being performed, in order, are Heroes, Moonlight and Magnolias, Red Herring, The Call List and It’s a Wonderful Life: Live in Door County.
Professionals younger than 40 are invited to the free networking mixers. Space is limited, so RSVPs are appreciated. Those who wish to attend that evening’s performance at TAP will get an exclusive discount code when they RSVP.
Attendees are asked to bring their business cards as TAP is building a shared member database. A winner will be drawn from the business cards at each event to win two tickets to a TAP show. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Private, ticketed wine nights in the theater lobby will include three wine tastings from von Stiehl Winery and a full glass pour to take into the theater when the show starts, plus cheese samples from Wisconsin Cheese Masters. Theatre tickets are not included in wine night reservations and must be purchased separately.
