Registration is open for Third Avenue PlayWorks’ (TAP) fall theatre workshops for adults, led by Dan Klarer, TAP’s community engagement and education coordinator.

Workshops will be held on Mondays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, running for six weeks starting Sept. 28. Following the six-week session, theatre workshops will continue on a drop-in basis starting Nov. 2. These sessions will be focused on scene study and monologue preparation. Each day will begin with improv and theater exercises followed by acting technique and character development for scene work.

The workshops are offered on a pay-what-you-will structure. Funding from Bader Philanthropies allows TAP to provide partial to full scholarships. The six-week session has a suggested value of $150, and drop-in classes are a $25 value per week.
