Volunteers are an essential part of TAP, helping us facilitate professional theatre year round. Did you know that the process of deconstructing the set for a show is called strike? While that thought may seem intimidating, there is actually a job for everybody in this process!
Project Category: Ongoing Events
Wisconsin Cheese Masters Wine Nights
Ticketed event held the first Thursday of each show’s run 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the theatre lobby including wine tastings from Von Stiehl Winery and cheese from Wisconsin Cheese Masters.
YP Networking
Join other area young professionals (under 40) for a fun networking mixer before the second Wednesday performance for each show! Let's build stronger connections within our community, share resources, and support each other's success while enjoying the arts.
Bite The Farm Opening Night Reception
We hold an opening night reception on the first Friday of each show's run with gluten-free desserts from Bite the Farm before the show and a champagne toast afterward.
Post-Show Conversation
Dive deeper into a production at Third Avenue PlayWorks in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. At one of our Post-Show Conversations, you'll have the opportunity to hear from the director, actors, and/or designers about bringing the production to the stage. The conversation will also include our community partner for the show.
Pay-What-You-Will Preview
Those interested in attending the preview to support this organization, may arrive as early as 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the performance for general admission seating. Space is available on a first come, first served basis. Donations may be made in cash or with checks made out to Third Avenue PlayWorks. Half of the proceeds will benefit this show’s Community Partner.
